Musical pioneers, Hollywood musical scores and a refurbished Muse of Music statue will be on the bill of fare for the 2006 summer season at the Hollywood Bowl, which will also be John Mauceri's farewell as conductor of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.
The season, which gets under way June 2 (with Garrison Keillor's ``A Prairie Home Companion'') and runs through Sept. 23 (with the ``Totally `80s'' concert), will feature the Bowl debuts of Willie Nelson, Tom Jones, violinist Nikolaj Znaider and conductor Xian Zhang.
