This quiet, 979-person village is poised to become the latest example of the enormous economic change sweeping through central Europe.
Residents have been bracing themselves since September.
That's when Korean automaker Hyundai first told Czech officials their favored site for an assembly plant was 260 hectares of farmland abutting the eastern Czech village.
The Czech government and Hyundai have been negotiating a deal ever since.
Czech officials say Nosovice is favored over two other nearby sites, but in late February Hyundai had not yet committed.
