BRAD BROZEK, 38, was talking Wednesday about how surviving the cancer he was diagnosed with 13 years ago has changed him.
"I went from being an active person to a never-sit-still person," Brozek said. "I don't want to wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow might not come. It's about seizing the moment."
He's a project manager with American Family in Madison, but come June, Brozek, a McFarland High School and UW-Madison graduate, will captain a team in Primal Quest 2006 -- the toughest and most prestigious expedition adventure race in the world.
