Forget about this so-called "Seinfeld curse" when it comes to Julia- Louis Dreyfus and her new TV series.

Everything Dreyfus does on television is compared to her Emmy-winning role as Elaine Benes.

The "Seinfeld curse" is allegedly an indelible stigma that stipulates that none of the cast members of the hit show will ever be connected with another critical, popular success.

The negative reviews I've read about CBS' The New Adventures of Old Christine, premiering tonight with two episodes, have brought up the curse.
