A timeline of events surrounding Ohio State's nine NCAA rules violations, seven of them involving the men's basketball program:
* April 2004: Ohio State basketball coach Jim O'Brien announces he may be called to testify in a lawsuit brought by a woman who says she spent thousands of dollars feeding, clothing, housing and supporting Buckeyes player Boban Savovic from 1999 to 2001. Kathleen Salyers is accusing former employers Dan and Kim Roslovic of reneging on their promise to pay her $1,000 a month plus expenses. Salyers also says in court papers that she helped transfer $6,000 in 1999 from the Ohio State coaching staff to another Yugoslav recruit, Aleksandar ...
