Daughtry overtakes Ace Young as the favorite

LOS ANGELES, CA, March 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The competition heats up as the final twelve American Idol hopefuls take the stage and sing their way to stardom. A new favorite has emerged at Sportsbook.com, the world's largest online sportsbook and casino. Chris Daughtry replaces Ace Young as the new Idol favorite with odds of 5-2.

Ace falls from the top and lands in third in the odds race at 5-1 behind Katharine McPhee, a 21 year old from Los Angeles, California. McPhee is currently a 4-1 bet to take the American Idol crown.
