Lincoln Electric Co. is in a hiring mood.

The company plans to add about 120 workers at its Euclid manufacturing plant before the end of 1993. The new jobs are the result of an aggressive marketing push expected to produce record U.S. sales for the company this year.

Strong sales and order levels that began setting monthly records in the first quarter will require the hiring of operators for computer numerically controlled machines, punch press operators and other metal-forming equipment operators, according to Richard S. Sabo, assistant to Donald F. Hastings, Lincoln's chairman and chief executive officer.
