NEW YORK -- Toshiba America, Inc. today announced that all six Toshiba companies operating in the U.S. (see below) will share title sponsorship of the 2006 Toshiba Classic golf tournament, formerly known as the Toshiba Senior Classic.
The event, which has earned a reputation as one of golf's most successful charity fundraisers and one of the most popular stops on the PGA Champions Tour, is scheduled for March 13 -19 at the Newport Beach Country Club in Newport Beach, CA. Since its inception in 1995, many of golf's greatest legends have competed in the Toshiba Classic, including Jack Nicklaus, Hale Irwin, Tom Watson, Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Chi Chi Rodriguez, ...
