Mar. 14--Most Californians continue to believe that a woman should have the right to choose whether to have an abortion, and they strongly support current abortion rights laws, including the landmark 1973 Roe vs. Wade decision, according to a Field poll released today.
Sixty-three percent of adult residents and 73 percent of registered voters in California said Roe vs. Wade should be upheld if it comes up for review again. Only 26 percent of those polled said they wanted to see the law overturned.
