JUNE TABOR At the Wood's Heart Topic 557
English vocalist June Tabor remains an uncompromising artist. She goes her own way, paying no attention to musical trends or fads. She makes no attempt to pretty or sweeten her naturally low, undecorated singing style. Instrumental backing is minimal and her choice of songs can be called "serious." Tabor's records can make for difficult listening; if you're looking for something light and airy, it's best to go elsewhere.
