MASSACHUSETTS, LIKE THOSE OF MOST STATES, HAS MADE IT CLEAR THAT DISCRIMINATION ON THE BASIS OF SEXUAL ORIENTATION IS AGAINST PUBLIC POLICY. However, that does not give those who are gay or lesbian the right to claim discrimination whenever confronted with charges that they are being terminated for good cause.
