WARSAW. MARCH 14. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Production Volume at Fiat Auto Poland Hits 7 Million Mark - In the 24 years of its existence, Fiat Auto Poland, formerly known as Fabryka Samochodow Malolitrazowych (FSM), has made seven million cars, half of which were Baby Fiats. By 1992, the FSM factory had made 3,348,500 cars and Fiat Auto Poland later contributed in kind by making 3,651,500 cars. Since 1972, the company has exported 3,287,000 cars and sold 3,713,000 on the domestic market.
The company made 3,318,700 Fiat 126s, 1,212,600 Fiat Seicento/600s, 1,164,400 Fiat Cinquecentos, 602,500 Fiat ...
