A RESTAURANT in Kidderminster has not only had a pounds 250,000 makeover - it has also banned its customers from smoking.
The proprietor of the Granary Hotel and Restaurant in Heath Lane, Shenstone, said he fully supported the smoking ban in pubs and clubs recently approved by a 200-strong majority in Parliament.
To show his strength of feeling, owner Richard Fletcher has now put a stop to lighting up in the premises, well ahead of the national ban which comes into effect in the summer of next year.
