CORVALLIS - One of Dan Bartram's assistant coaches joked after the game that he didn't know what Bartram had told his team at halftime but that Bartram should bottle it.
"I'm gonna write a book," Bartram shot back as he watched the Douglas girls basketball team accept the third-place trophy at the OSAA Class 3A tournament in Gill Coliseum on Saturday.
The Far West League champion Trojans had just beaten Baker 56-42 to claim only the second trophy in school history. Douglas also finished third in 2000.
