NEW GLARUS -- Fat Squirrel, Spotted Cow and Uff-da Bock beers may be fermenting in a new locale before long, but a battle is brewing over who will supply the juice when New Glarus Brewing Company throws the switch on its proposed new plant.
"It's a funny situation," New Glarus Brewing Company President Deb Carey said. "The new brewery site is in the township, and township electrical services are provided by Alliant. We expect to be annexed into the village, and the village would like to have us as a customer."
