A trail circling Mount Hope Reservoir will be complete if a developer's tentative compromise to give the city of Oneida a small chunk of his personal nature preserve goes through.
Michael West has agreed to donate a section of his Westwood Preserve, land that would become part of the city-owned reservoir when West develops one of Oneida's priciest neighborhoods.
The city Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the housing tract on Brophy Road at 7:30 p.m. today.
The commission has been reviewing the project since November and isn't expected to grant final approval until its April or May ...
