A NEW profession may be open to the average Filipino. There is a growing demand, as reported in the Dec. 30, 2005, issue of the International Herald Tribune, for "teachers of laughter" or "giggling gurus." In Seoul, South Korea, or Munich, Germany, people are paying as much as US$300 for sessions on how to laugh. Since laughter is second-nature to the Filipino, he or she may be the worldas leading expert on this emerging art.
