On Saturday, the 16 wineries on the Cayuga Wine Trail gave visitors a chance to meet with their winemakers, ask questions about wine production and sample wines. At the King Ferry Winery, winemaker Alex Jackman talked with visitors about wines made from the cabernet franc grape, such as a dry rose produced at the winery. He took time out to answer questions from staff writer John Stith.
