UGS Corp., a global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, has announced that Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL), the leading supplier of semiconductor production equipment (SPE) and flat panel display (FPD) equipment, has expanded its use of Solid Edge(TM) software -- UGS' industry-leading, value-based 3D computer-aided design (CAD) system for the mainstream PLM market -- for its 3D design platform.
