Microsoft promised the European Commission that things would get ugly if it persists in harrying the world's largest software company.
Thursday the pair traded blows again.
Microsoft accused the EC of being biased, colluding with its enemies, concealing key documents and denying it due process.
The EC antitrust chief Neelie Kroes, in turn, repeated the EC's threat to fine the company, telling the Dow Jones Newswires that "If we pursue the line we are following now, there will be fines and they won't small fines."
The EC has threatened to fine Microsoft $2.4 million a day going back to mid-December if it doesn't produce protocol ...
