Allegation Dropped: A former consultant to Maxim Pharmaceuticals (which was acquired last month by EpiCept Corp.) settled an allegation by the Securities and Exchange Commission that he capitalized on inside information obtained while working at Maxim to buy and sell company stock, profiting from the transactions by about $15,000.
