3 Ireland has announced that it has as of 14th March 2006 abolished roaming charges for all of its customers roaming in the UK or Northern Ireland. As a result, all domestic and UK calls made and received while roaming in Northern Ireland and the UK will be charged as according to the customers price plan. Also, 3 has abolished international calling charges to all UK numbers from Ireland whilst per-minute international calls from Ireland to the UK have been reduced from Euro 0.49 to Euro 0.30. Furthermore, customers can use up to half of their allotted monthly bundled minutes to make these calls.
