Article: Pharmacy school gets funds for fall.

Mar. 21--AUSTIN -- The new pharmacy school building standing empty for lack of operating money at the Texas A&M campus in Kingsville finally will open next fall, House Appropriations Chairman Jim Pitts, R-Waxahachie, said Monday.

A&M officials agreed to place the pharmacy school under its health science center, freeing up about $5 million that otherwise was not available for the pharmacy school as a stand-alone program.
