The 34 students of Baker High School's drumline know four Billy Joel songs as well as anything from 2006 that might make their iPod playlist.
Casey Vanderstouw makes sure of that.
The director of the Baldwinsville school's ensemble decided this season's program would cover Joel's songs "(Prelude) Angry Young Man," "You May Be Right," "Pressure" and "We Didn't Start the Fire."
Sure, the songs are older than the students. Heck, "(Prelude) Angry Young Man" is the same age as the 29-year-old Vanderstouw.
Still, the teenage musicians love them.
