Mar. 22--GUILDERLAND -- At Filene's in Crossgates Mall, this is what it had come down to on Tuesday afternoon:
--Two $59 clocks, reduced to $5.90, a dramatic price point that might have had more cachet if the clocks weren't lacking hands.
--A bin of random shams, attractively priced at $3, that once sold for as much as $115.
--A large selection of $3 men's shirts, available only in green and pink plaid.
On the last day of Filene's life at the mall, shoppers couldn't be too choosy. Two stories of product had been reduced to a few bins, racks and display counters.
