Mar. 23--Five months after its chief executive resigned, Wright Medical has hired Gary D. Henley to replace him.

Henley, 57, will take over as CEO and president of the Arlington-based medical device manufacturer on April 4. He was previously president of the Americas division at Orthofix International, based in the Netherlands Antilles.

Interim President and CEO F. Barry Bays will resume his previous position as executive chairman, and James T. Treace, who was serving as chairman, will relinquish the position, but remain a director.
