Two Woodland Elementary District 50 board members voted in favor of a new teachers contract last week, despite having ties to the instructors' union.
Board member Michael Bond received $10,000 from the Lake County Federation of Teachers union in December for his state senate campaign. Board member Lawrence Gregorash also received union money, and his sister leads the Woodland Council teachers union.
Neither Bond nor Gregorash is accused of breaking any laws.
