SC remits Samba spy case for fresh hearing to Delhi HC
New Delhi, Mar 23 (PTI) The Supreme Court has directed the Delhi High Court to examine afresh, preferably within four months, the Samba espionage case wherein it had given a clean chit to nine army officers accused of spying for Pakistan between 1972-78.
Remitting the matter to High Court, a Bench comprising Justice Arijit Pasayat and Justice Tarun Chatterjee said the High Court had not gone into the preliminary objection of maintainability of the petitions filed by the accused.
