Artificial insects of various shapes, sizes and colors will be created before your eyes Saturday at the Wheeler Pavilion at the Lane Events Center in Eugene.
The occasion is the 19th annual Northwest Fly Tyers Expo, featuring 160 expert fly-tyers from throughout the West.
The expo utilizes an up close and personal format that provides participants an opportunity to see artificial flies "hatch" right before their eyes. And participating tyers are always willing to share tips and techniques while assembling their trout, steelhead, bass, salmon or saltwater patterns.
