ST. PAUL, Minn. _ Villanova junior Mike Nardi would have started nearly every game at point guard for the Wildcats during the past three seasons if not for the emergence of Kyle Lowry.
Nardi started 63 of his first 65 games at Villanova, but he gladly moved to the two-guard spot once Lowry, now a sophomore, was ready to take over this season.
"That's been the key to all of us getting better," Nardi said. "(Lowry) can really get in the lane and find guys on the perimeter. With me and Allan (Ray) shooting the ball much better, it worked so much better with him at the one."
