SHE'S up at 2.45am every day in deepest Redd itch ready to do the pre-breakfast show on BBC WM.

But, although she inevitably finds the hours really tough, Mollie Green isn't complaining

especially now that summer is on its way at last.

The show's early start enables her to fulfil her real passion - helping out at animal shelters like Hollytrees during the day.

Mollie will take next week off from her show to front WM's Animal Appeal, a new take on the popular Christmas Toy Appeal.

She'll visit seven different collection points to collect everything from pet food to blankets and toys.
