The PVA Research Foundation's board of trustees met in November 2005 to make funding decisions for fiscal year 2006. Of the 67 applications received by the foundation's September 1, 2005, deadline, the trustees approved 23 and awarded funding to 10. Efforts are being made to find alternative funding for the 13 remaining "approved, unfunded" proposals. The total amount awarded for new grants is $1,207,888.
