Mar. 25--Coach Inc., a manufacturer of upscale women's handbags and accessories, is suing Kohl's Corp. in federal court, accusing the department store chain of copying its designs. The lawsuit, filed Monday in New York, asks that Kohl's stop selling the handbags that Coach considers copies and that the Menomonee Falls-based chain turn over profits it made on the merchandise to Coach. Kohl's executives could not be reached for comment Friday evening. In the lawsuit, Coach, based in New York, said it has used the registered trademark "Sonoma" since 1993. Kohl's also uses the name "Sonoma" on a variety of private label merchandise. ...
