Mar. 25--How tempting it was for the headline writers. "There's no crying in basketball," they shouted in Friday's sports sections, mocking Adam Morrison, the Gonzaga All-American. Not simply because Morrison broke down in tears after his team succumbed to UCLA's furious comeback in Thursday night's NCAA Oakland regional semifinal, but because Morrison wept openly before the game ended.
