ATLANTA _ While LSU power forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis was preparing to cut down the net at the Georgia Dome, wearing a gold feather boa and telling Tigers fans, "We got tapeworms in our belly," Texas forward LaMarcus Aldridge had tears in his eyes.
Aldridge and the Longhorns had just been dominated inside by Davis and Tyrus Thomas, a Tiger with more bounce than Tigger, as LSU advanced to the Final Four with a 70-60 overtime victory Saturday in the Atlanta Region final. The Tigers (27-8) will play UCLA next weekend in Indianapolis.
