CKD PATIENTS benefit from cardiac rehabilitation (CR) programs to a similar extent as non-CKD patients, according to a new study.
Patients with CKD have a high prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors and are at increased risk of CHD. CR programs decrease morbidity and mortality in patients with HD, but the effects of such programs on CHD risk factors in patients with CKD have not been established.
