MILLWOOD, Va., March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Project HOPE's President and CEO John P. Howe, III, M.D., accompanied by members of its Board of Directors, today visited Shanghai, China, where Project HOPE's program at the Shanghai Children's Medical Center (SCMC) has generated 29,000 volunteer hours, 190 education programs and $20.5 million in donated medical equipment. SCMC is a benchmark health systems and facilities program through which Project HOPE envisions other programs in China and beyond.
