NEW YORK -- Jefferies & Company, Inc., the principal operating subsidiary of Jefferies Group, Inc. (NYSE: JEF), today announced that Senior Equity Research Analyst David R. Tameron has been appointed to head the equity research group covering U.S. exploration and production companies. He will be joined by research analysts, David C. Adams and Leo P. Mariani, Jr., who will be assuming coverage of the E&P companies formerly covered by Frank D. Bracken III. This follows the recent move of Mr. Bracken to Jefferies' Randall & Dewey Energy Investment Banking Group.
