SALEM, N.H. -- Standex International Corporation (NYSE:SXI) today announced that it has sold its Consumer Products Group operation, Standex Direct, to privately held State Street Refrig., Inc.. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
"The sale of Standex Direct marks the completion of the first step in the strategic divestiture of our Consumer Products Group businesses," said Roger Fix, president and chief executive officer. "We are on track to substantially complete the divestiture of the remaining Consumer Products Group businesses by the end of our 2006 fiscal year as planned."
