Mar. 28--Testimony began Monday in an appeal of a liquor license granted to a proposed Italian restaurant in downtown Bethlehem. Steve Selvaggio was given the license last March, following hearings by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, for the restaurant in the former Brown Printing storefront at Market Street and Heckenwelder Place. Area residents appealed to Northampton County Court, saying that having a liquor license at the restaurant would cause traffic, noise, litter and parking problems.
