Yogi Berra once said, "The future is not what is used to be." Nothing can be truer of the North American PCB industry. Only a few years ago, the industry was in the midst of one of the most devastating downturns in its history. Some were wondering if the industry would even survive.

Indications are that the general financial health of the North American PCB industry seems to be improving. From December 2004 to November 2005, the IPC Book-to-Bill ratio was at or above parity. This means that for 11 straight months demand was ahead of supply, which points to near-term growth.
