Mar. 30--MANTECA - The Floppy Hat Bandit may have capped off his spree with a bank robbery in Tracy earlier this month, investigators say.
A Manteca man already charged with robbing two banks in Modesto is suspected of committing a third holdup in Tracy just hours after one of the other robberies, police and federal investigators said this week.
Jerome Maurice Harper, 35, is suspected in four bank robberies dating back to last summer, authorities said. He has been charged in only the two Modesto cases.
