Mar. 30--ASHLEY -- A gray cloud of suffocating raw cement released last week flowed down Solomon Creek, killing "several hundred" fish, including native brook trout, according to Waterways Conservation Officer Kadin Thompson of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. Wednesday, Thompson and Mike Sames of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection's Dam Safety Division met with Tedd Eldridge of Eldridge and Sons contractors and representatives from Pennsylvania American Water at the scene of the spill.
