HOSPITALS in London are imposing huge parking fees on vulnerable patients and their families.
Consumer watchdogs today condemned the "lottery" of charges and called on MPs to stop hospitals making a profit from parking.
An Evening Standard survey found people were being charged up to [pounds sterling]24 to park for eight hours at central London hospitals - more than many commercial car parks would charge.
The prices vary wildly.
