Mar. 31--Programs that target boys, girls and parents of adolescents are among the strategies Milwaukee officials will use to reduce teen pregnancy rates, a United Way advisory committee said Thursday.
These tactics have been used in other cities that have successfully lowered the number of teens who give birth, they say. The announcement was made during the release of a 50-page report compiled from a review of 58 agencies, three listening sessions and studies of pregnancy prevention programs throughout the nation.
