She's only 17, but Sonya Kitchell doesn't sound fazed in the least by the explosion of activity surrounding the release of her first album.
"I've been touring. Did the CBS morning show. Played Carnegie Hall for the Joni Mitchell tribute. I was on the `etown' radio show in Colorado with Ben Harper. Y'know, all sorts of different things, gearing up for the release," said Kitchell from her home in western Massachusetts.
One year after her six-song EP "Cold Day," Kitchell's full-length debut, "Words Came Back to Me," will be released Tuesday by Velour Music and Starbucks' Hear Music, which guarantees it a prominent position ...
