Mar. 31--A consortium of companies and a Spanish-based construction company submitted offers yesterday in a tender held by Bucharest municipality for the construction of a new street that will link the Colentina and Pantelimon residential areas.

Gheorghe Udriste, the municipality's transportations, roads and circulation safety chief, said that the works that are scheduled to begin will start from Doamna Ghica street and will finish to Chisinau Boulevard. The municipality is allotting 14 million euros for this project.

The new road will have 915 meters in length, of which 205 meters will go over a railway.
