JUNCTION CITY - A string of pars might sound boring, but it worked for the Oregon Duck Invitational leaders Tuesday at Shadow Hills Country Club.
For San Diego State, an even-par 288 in the final round led to the Aztecs' second victory in the Willamette Valley in the past three years.
For Washington State's Ryan Witz, a 72 that featured 16 pars was enough for him to share medalist honors with Washington's Joe Panzeri, whose final-round 66 was the low round of the tournament.
