MUMBAI, April 3 Asia Pulse - The Czech Republic hopes to increase its bilateral trade with India by 17 per cent at US$600,000 by the end of 2006 as against US$513,000 in 2005, according to a top Czech Republic official.

However, it expressed dissappointment at almost nil participation by Indian companies at trade fairs organised in the Czech Republic.

"Despite telling the benefits Indian companies could avail of by participating in these trade fairs, there has been to date no response," Czech Republic Consul and Trade Commissioner Pavel Kalina said on sidelines of a fair and exhibition promotion meet here.
