Apr. 3--As China emerges as a top business partner for South Florida, the number of missions to and from the giant Asian nation is soaring. Three major trips are taking place this month alone.
A delegation from the Marine Industries Association of South Florida is visiting China April 1-9, following up on a visit by some 30 Chinese boating executives to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show last October.
The South Florida group is to attend the 11th annual China International Boat Show in Shanghai and tour the waterfront cities of Shanghai and Guangzhou.
